A Life Photographing Texas -and Beyond

For almost 50 years, Earl Nottingham has documented the landscapes, people and stories of Texas and the American West. His work combines a lifelong connection to the region with a eye shaped by decades of professional photography.

Earl served as Chief Photographer for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department from 1996 through 2021. In addition to his work being published in Texas Parks & Wildlife Magazine, it has also been featured in National Geographic Traveler, Smithsonian Guide to America, Texas Highways, Texas Monthly and many other publications.
